We are a software developer and are in the planning phases on creating an integrating with your API. That way our users can create an account with you, generate an Api key, and then decide how to interact with it within our system. For example: They can automatically plant a tree for every Sales Order they make in our system, or set the co2 value within a Sales Order that can then be offset. Now the feature request: the widgets are a really nice “badge” for our users to show off to end customers. However our system generates .pdf for the documents and email templates that get send to end customers. The widgets wont work in them. It would be nice to be able to “get” the widget as an image by way of an url. That way we can place it within the pdf/email to the end customer. If you have any question please let me know :)

New profile page feels blocky and corporate, features missing

The old/current profiles had the following: A personalised short description A custom forest name (which made your contribution personal to you) Badges that helped show your ongoing commitment “Climate impact since…” is a very important bit of text Impact visualised was a nice touch to help my clients understand how supporting Ecologi without then need to research too much The animated icons were a nice feature and gave the profile a bit of life As a web design agency I understand the need for change and updates however the new profiles as they stand feel like a bit of a downgrade. I feel that a lot of the nice touches that made the service feel fresh and impactful are now missing and everything has become very corporate and blocky. Also the employee Our Climate Action Workforce section is not so good for smaller companies and single employee businesses. We are all doing our best to support the environment but feel that saying “1 Employee“ could be more of a negative than an positive when people view the profile. As a suggestion could there be an option to pick if you would like your profile to have a corporate feel or a more environmental feel (as the current profile does). That way each profile can pick they way in which they would like to present their environmental efforts. Some would like the new cold hard facts approach were as others would like the more friendly “Get Involved“ kind of approach (which is what lead me to choose Ecologi in the first-place). It would be great to hear your thoughts on this feedback and thank you for allowing us all to contribute to this great cause.

Recurring Purchases in the Impact Shop

I’ve asked before and I’m flagging again as it would be so useful for funding on behalf of my clients and customers: I’d love a “set and forget” option for things like tree planting, to make them recurring on behalf of my customers. For example, I keep forgetting to renew manually, but if I could do one tree a month for a web hosting client, or a batch of say 25 a year for retainer clients.

Customizable “Customer Impact Emails” Content Blocks

Customer Impact Emails are a strong and valuable feature, but currently their content structure cannot be customized. There is no option to remove or disable the second paragraph showing cumulative store-wide totals for trees funded and carbon removals, which in some cases we prefer not to display. Allowing brands to toggle content blocks or choose between different email versions (order-level impact only vs. cumulative impact) would greatly improve flexibility and alignment with brand communication strategies.
